If you are a first or second offender & wish to participate in the VOLUNTARY online Defensive Driver Education program administered by the City of St. Gabriel Mayor's Court, please complete the form below. You must apply for the program at least 20 days prior to your court date so that your application can be reviewed well in advance of court. If it is less than 20 days to your court date, you may still be eligible for the program, but you must request participation in person on your court date. You must also provide a valid email address to participate. Within approximately 5 business days, you will then receive an email either approving or denying your participation in the program. If approved, you must complete the course and pay the program fee at least 10 days prior to your court date. If approved, program fees are:

Speeding up to 30 MPH over the limit or non-moving violations: $244.95*

Each additional charge, such as no proof of insurance, seat belt violation, etc.: +$50
*Cost of program includes $34.95 for the online defensive driver course.
**A 3% Processing and Administrative Fee will be added to all payments.
If a bench warrant has been issued, you may still be eligible to participate in the program with an additional $170 bench warrant fee. The bench warrant will be recalled only upon successful completion of your obligations, unless recalled through the contacting police department.
